Turning off the sky using the sky remote a box appears asking if I want to turn on my set top box, if it's on please check cables because you're not getting a signal so to turn off the TV i have to use the TV remote. The sky remote works fine it's just this message appears every time i turn of my sky with the remote. Thanks for any help.

If the remote is linked to your TV, then a long press (a second or two) will turn off both box and TV.
