Wall mounted TV to Sky stream box

I have just got Sky stream and have a wall mounted JVC TV.

My problem is when I plug the cable into the HDMI port , because of its length I can't then hook the TV back onto it's brackets because it's too long.

There's a USB port on the side (photo below) which I thought would solve the problem so I bought an adaptor cable but it doesn't fit the USB port as it's a different shape

The small writing on the TV next to the USB female port reads

USB

5 vdc

max 600 ma

It's shorter and deeper than a standard USB port

Any ideas much appreciated

@Gogetemfloyd  Best to get a HDMI cable that has a right angle 90 degree connection similar to this one from the well known online retailer (click on the 90o option).

Unclear what you were hoping to do with that adapter, but a USB port on a television set cannot either power a Stream puck or accept video input from one.

That looks just the job. Didn't even consider a right angle fitting.
