New sky stream system installed this week - unable to pair new Sky stream controller with Sony Bravia KD65XH9505 and Bose soundbar 300. Both items not listed in settings of available systems to pair with and puck unable to find either item.. TV and soundbar are only 3 years old. Had no problems pairing controller on my second sky stream puck with 10 yr old Panasonic tv and sound system in another room. Rang Sky but unable to help, said my systems not possible to link. Back to 3 controllers and wondering if I should go back to Sky Q which had no problems linking controller. What to do???

Try all the other Sony TV codes that are listed on the remote setup until you find one that controls your TV. I would be very surprised if there wasn't one that worked.
If your soundbar is connected via HDMI ARC and you have CEC control turned on then once you have the Sky Stream remote set to control the TV, it will automatically control the volume of the soundbar.

Had yet another faff with settings [almost lost the will to live] and your advice seems to have fixed it. Why is it not intuitive???? Many thanks for your help.

I know exactly what you mean. It's easy to lose the will to live when trying to get Sky hardware to function correctly.
Glad it worked for you!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Joanne23 If you go to Settings > Connected Devices and select Sky Remote it will give you options to Control your TV. If you select this option it will try all the relevant TV options. You can try selecting Sony Bravia as the TV type but if you have no luck select the other option where it tries the various options for you.
