Turned HDMI control off and now I can’t get back on the usual Sky homepage

I was trying to switch inputs to watch a DVD on an LG box so I switched the settings to 'HDMI control off' whilst fiddling around. I then switched the TV off and back on again and now I'm unable to get back to the original input. I cannot use the voice command button or the home button.

Help please??

Can you use your LG remote to change it to the correct HDMI input?

You can't switch inputs using the Sky remote, you'll need your TV remote for that.

Hi Andrew thanks for responding,

I've just tried this and it seems that it only controls the LG box not the actual TV itself. Also, when I try and press different buttons on the LG remote like 'program' or 'AV' it doesn't respond- it only responds when I press power or open/close dvd

Sorry if I'm not making much sense, I'm not to familiar with TV stuff!

Oh sorry, I assumed you had an LG TV. What's your TV make? You'll need that control.

If you have a Sky Glass TV with an LG DVD player attached to it then you need to use the Sky Glass remote control to navigate down to the apps and inputs section on the home page. Select the HDMI input that you have the DVD player attached to.

Sorry I should've stated before- It's a Panasonic TV! I have managed to resolve the issue now but thank you for your answers anyway.

I didn't realise there was an AV button at the side of the TV so I switched back to the other input that way!

Ah. You'd posted in the Sky Glass forum so that's where the confusion arose! Glad you got it sorted.
