The remote has no Source Button of the TV...?

I have to use my old Sky Q remote too change Sorces so I can play my PS5.

I am not a Sky Engineer but at one time wanted to be one or a BT Engineer... 🙂

I was a PC Engineer and fix peoples PCs by going to there house, Windows XP was known to slow down PCs over time and clog up the PCs RAM and its start-up and had to reinstall it for the customer, the only way you could fix WinXP.

You can use your Stream remote to scroll down to the input options from the Home page.

I think that would be on Glass rather than Stream?

Doh...yes, Stream would have no need for it.

Doesn't CEC work on your TV or have you switched it off?

No it don't have switching on the HDMI ports(it only has 2 HDMI ports), only switches on the scart connector, its about 14 years old(2010), that the problem I guess, I do not have money to get a new one, and I only replace it if something is wrong with it, the last TV I had, the power button broke, so replaced with this one, its a Hitachi 42 inch, I have had it from new, got it from Argos, it cost £299 then, it so old it has the analog and digital.singles on it.

My son has a newer TV then me its a Samsung 55inch(has no bezel around the screen) and you still need to switch sources with the sources button on his remote, to change HDMI ports

Maybe Sky just missed putting the sources button on the Sky Steam remote, its volume and power off works fine on the TV... 🙂

Is the Sky Steam remote the same at the Sky Glass remote, if so, that why then, it has no sources button.

Yes, it's the same remote.  Sky tells us switching input was problematic with Sky Q and various television models, which was another reason for dropping it from the new platform.
