TV turns on but frozen screen . Done several re boots works but then next time freezes again .

After several calls to CS and going through hours of resets over the last week still no joy. TV turns on but screen frozen. 
eventually it works but then after tv off for a while back to square one. I assume this is the puck which Skyvare now replacing but is anyone else having this amount of problems.

@Yram23 replacing the puck is sensible as if thst clears the fault you know it was a dodgy unit.

Agreed. New one is infinitely better but only time will tell. Son looked up serial number of first one and there were many reports of exactly the same fault. I feel annoyed at having to spend so long on the phone day after day when SKY must have known the puck was the problem

@Yram23 Sky have supplied several million of the same model puck and while a few were inevitably dodgy the vast majority are not thst is true of all mass produced electronic kit  No idea what source your son used but given Sky/Comcast release no data on these units which are manufactured to their own design unless he has access to their internal data I would doubt his conclusion. If he has access to Sky data that will be covered by a strict NDA.

It's open info online. Accept there are always bad ones in any batch but when you have done all the usual actions  re boot etc then it should have been automatic replacement not keep repeating the mantra day after day hour after hour. It was me who suggested it was probably the puck  but was dismissed as just needing updates. . All the tech team very good and precise but only one suggested the puck after 4 calls & several updates/ resets. Very frustrating & unnecessary.
