Streaming consistently freezes , loses sound and picture goes white

I set up to stream my favourite programmes to watch at a later stage . I then play a programme and throughout the show it loses sound, picture freezes or goes white . This happens every day numerous times .Ive followed all the instructions from switching it off to updating apps , checking WiFi etc nothing changes . Please help
