@NeilF75 This thread does not have any post marked as the answer.  If you are still having the lip sync issue have a look at my previous post (post 30 above) where I have given a couple of quick ways to get it back in sync.  This is not a solution but a workaround whilst Sky find a permanent fix 😀

Post number 2 was marked as "The Answer" now not showing. I have removed my subscription from this thread, but I'm still getting email notifications.

Re: Sky tv sound - constantly out of sync

I find the quickest way to solve the sync problem is to go backwards a few seconds in the program and

then start play again.

Re: Sky tv sound - constantly out of sync

Hi, I was just experiencing the same slight lipsync issue on sky q, I fixed the issue by going to settings on sky q, setting-select-setup-select - audio visual-select-digital audio output hdmi - changed that from normal to Dolby digital plus.

My setup is sky box to soundbar then soundbar to tv via e-arc hdmi port.

Hope that can help someone as it was really annoying.

Dan.

Re: Sky tv sound - constantly out of sync

I have found that while the sky channels stay in sync, all other channels drift out of sync. I am using a tv with a home theatre 5.1 system. The way I cure it is to change the tv sound output to the internal speaker and then change it straight back to hdmi. It immediately then syncs correctly and stays in sync until I change channel or fast forward. It's a bit of a pain but is very quick to do.
