Exactly the same. Disconnecting and reconnecting the HDMI cable at startup in order to get sound. Sky support said change the Stream's sound settings from HDMI auto to PCM stereo as a workaround (this means no more surround sound though). They have no idea when/if the issue will be fixed 🙁

Well its not happened again here on the 0025 update, so far, on all three sky stream boxes.
Its really not good enough of Sky to dismiss it and state they don't know when it will be fixed. That could mean never.
So far in general these have been pretty good, albeit there is no access remotely via an app to them, nor is there an API to build controls to them, similar to what Sky Q uses.

Still got ongoing, repeatable audio issues with the stream puck when using passthrough mode. Pausing a program stops sound working. Seems to be the way the stream communicates with the sonos soundbar, the output dissapears in the sonos app when the programme is paused, then when unpaused it dorsnt seem to send output to the sonos.
Definitely a sky issue any other streaming device works normally when pausing an app and resuming, no audio issues.
its better when sound output switched to "auto" on the puck but then lip synch is so out its not funny!
