Episodes 7 & 8 of The Iris Affair only available in UHD without HDR as well. How do Sky get this so wrong with every TV show that they broadcast with HDR. It's unbelievable and makes them look like 2nd rate broadcasters.

I've found returning to you're series and films in the playlist section instead of continue  watching has helped massively with this issue.

This is happening a lot and not just in the odd show.

 

For example I can be watching a movie in UHD, pause it or skip it and it will continue playing in a very low resolution

 

The only way to sort out is to restart and then continue the movie

 

They need to fix these constant problems as this is getting really annoying

I have to agree, sky stream definitely has some underlying issues. Quite surprising considering how long it's been out for now. I remember sky q running like a dream

Since I've had a faster bb connection it's been working like a dream honestly, last few weeks though I have been noticing all of these issues that other people have been having.

 

There are so many! I am struggling justifying the monthly cost if it now

As you are a Superuser, I believe you can escalate this issue to a Sky Expert. Any chance you could do this ? Otherwise we might all be just shouting out of our windows in the hope it will get better.

If this is only happening for odd individual episodes of a series, to get this checked and resolved by Sky, is via the Sky Viewer relations team.

You need to send an email to them Sky Viewer to report it;

ViewerR@sky.uk
They do respond to emails with any updates for your queries or problems.

 

Agree, it has been an adhoc issue from posts on this community for a few years on some series, not only on Sky Stream/Glass but Sky Q On demand content.

Any extra reporting by us Superusers will be redirected via Sky to the VR team, so customers reporting it will follow  the same addressing path.

See this post - after I sent video evidence they didn't bother updating me & never resolved 😔

@Steve+154  Super Users are unable to escalate any posts as the service has been offline for some time.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Must agree the VR team respond promptly to my requests on a regular basis.

Sent a few programme and series glitches quite recently and all were resolved within a few days at most.

 

Not really sure any video evidence is enquired and may just confuse the recipient.

A simple text description of the Sky TV service, timings and which programme and episodes with the issue is all that is required.

No need, it was back in September and since finished the series.

The details are still as mentioned in my earlier post

It was showing correctly after the last episode aired, too late for my viewing preferences on that show; all other episodes were correct at the time.

Ok, that one.

I clicked on your previous link and saw it was months old, so did kind of think you may in this thread be referring to a more current one.
