Sky stream shows not always displaying in uhd and hdr

I have the UHD package, for example watching the series 'Task' last night. The first episode was in uhd and hdr, but the next episode was in hd! 
I even clicked the format button and changed it to the option I wanted. But it still would only show in hd. The show atomic will only play in hd. But I can click another series/film and it works, really frustrating. I have ultra deep setting on, I've also tried other hdmi ports. I have an lg Oled tv so I know that's not the issue.  Even restarting the box doesn't help anything, any ideas?

Is your  tv a 4k  tv for uhd if not then you  will  not  get  uhd

Hi, yes I've got a lg Oled c4 tv. A very good tv, never had issues before since taking put ksy stream

Have you put the puck picture settings  on the correct settings  for 4k, the highest  number  in the picture  settings ?

Yeah, set to 2160 and uhd. It's weird as it will work on some episodes, but not on some. Why I don't think it's the tv

I had a similar issue with HDR; Atomic episode 2 would only display the UHD icon and only play in UHD. eps 1, 3-5 all had the HDR icon and played in HDR. Contacted viewer relations for feedback and gave video evidence - still no conclusion and I've finished the series now.

Unfortunate this is a regular occurrence on Sky HDR shows, you can almost guarantee that at least one episode will be missing the correct format on most UHD HDR series aired on  Sky @Richkc

I've had a similar issue, I posted about it today (didn't see your post)

I've got the UHD add on, my issue is when first turning on the puck it lists shows that are in UHD as being in HD 

I've found if you go into settings and reset the puck all the shows will show the correct UHD information and play in UHD 

With regards to the issue of some episodes being in UHD without HDR I've experienced the same and it's annoying, again a reset will usually show the correct information 

There appears to be the rare occasions where there's a certain episode that will show in HD rather than UHD for eg I've noticed 'Game Of Thrones' has this issue, in this case I think it's just down to how it's been uploaded

Apologies, I didn't read your post correctly, you mentioned you have tried to reset the puck but that hasn't helped

Thats really odd that you were able to play 1 episode of 'Atomic' in UHD but only HD with the other.. Whereas the issue I'm getting is that it's showing all episodes as being in HD untll I reset the puck then it all appears in UHD

Unfortunately I don't know what the answer is for you, perhaps contact customer support and see what they can do

Peacemaker episode 6 is another example. Supposed to be in HDR but only have the UHD format available even though there is an option to select UHD HDR.

This has happened to mew also. watching The Iris Affair. All the settings are correct and my TV supports UHD HDR, the default download setting is at Auto. It seems the issue arises when the series is in the Playlist, if you remove it from the playlist and then look for the stream in the main menu, you can find the HDR/UHD version, sometimes. This is hit and miss, but sometimes works for me. It is clearly a flaw in the Sky Stream Technology

Why oh why can I guarantee that at least one episode of a Sky HDR show will only play in UHD. 
Once is a mistake, twice is unfortunate but 3 times+ is just incompetence. 
Someone seriously needs their knuckles rapping.  The Iris Affair episode 5 is HD and UHD only.
