I don't know if anybody has the same problem, but my sky stream remote eats batteries for fun.
Every month I have to renew the batteries because they die.
I've got another remote upstairs and the same thing happens.

There was a bad batch of remotes many months ago ...
I've had 4 remotes for almost 2 years and changed the batteries maybe once in each set

Re: Sky stream remote uses batteries at an alarming rate
@Cr55 My original remote needed a new set of batteries every 3 weeks and I have seen post on the forum of other people whose batteries only lasted a matter of days. Overall the quality of the remotes is very poor (I'm being polite). I got a replacement from Sky and that has behaved.
I would simply request a replacement using the link provided by @Jporch316 but in the meantime if you have one available you can use a Sky Q remote until your replacement arrives

Re: Sky stream remote uses batteries at an alarming rate
Hi @CSBisset That is obviously not correct and as you can see from my post above I had a similar issue but in my case the batteries lasted a few weeks. Have a look at the "Answer" to this thread above posted by @Jporch316 where you will see a link to request a replacement (you will need to sign into your MySky account).
