Sky stream remote not working with my LG tv

Hi all

I have a 43 inch 4k LG tv model no 43UP75006LF, I use to be able to change the volume and turn my tv off and on using my sky remote that came with my stream but since I needed to resync the remote the sky stream wont work with any of the codes it gives you when you set the remote up in the connected devices in settings, even when going through the whole 24 codes it gives you and when you select your tv and either pick for the box to find your tv or you search for your model. 

I am not sure if anyone can help me but it would be highly appreciated if anyone could. I know one of you super stars on here will know how to fix this fingers crossed

• I find that the Sky Stream remote doesn't turn the Stream on, but it does switch the LG tv on, very annoyingly. 
  To get the Sky Stream back on, I have to switch the tv off and then switch it on again. This works every time and I don't understand why.

All the actions above were performed with the Sky Stream remote. The LG remote was not touched.
