Sky stream remote not connecting to Sony tv

Sky remote not connecting to TV. I have changed the batteries

I'm having a similar problem, my remote turns tv on and off but I can't access any programmes

That's all the remote will do, probably because once the puck is on there's no need to use the TV's tuner.
