Sky stream remote full of white powder
Our new remote stopped working and is full of white powder from one of the Chinese batteries. I've now changed the batteries and cleaned the inside but it looks to have been damaged by the leak and still won't work. I've emailed the help desk. Anyone know how longbit takes to get a new remote?
We've only been customers for a few months! Sky need to look at what might be a batch of duff batteries.

Re: Sky stream remote full of white powder
Hi @Slcrun
As Stream is rented, Sky will supply you with a new remote under warranty if you get in touch with them (we are fellow subscribers here on the forum). They usually send them next day delivery.
There is an online form for Glass customers, but not sure if this works for Stream only customers: https://www.sky.com/help/forms/streaming-tv-remote. This was created following a bad batch of remotes!

Re: Sky stream remote full of white powder
Did you get a response with a fix? We have the exact same issue, white stuff in the back of remote and only a few buttons working, but not always what they are supposed to do.
