That's how Glass and Stream was released in October 2021, but Stream became a standalone option a year later.  There's no in-premises interaction between the devices, and having a Glass television makes no difference to Stream reliability (or otherwise)

 

One distinct disadvantage of Glass/Stream is that unlike the satellite platforms there's just no room in the business model for the nationwide fleet of installers who have historically been the main Sky customer support delivery mechanism: as long as a person in a ladder gets the dish is pointed in the right direction, live satellite television generally works, which is rather different to the uncertainty of broadband and WiFi.
