Could you expand further on your issues? I'm having similar issues and I'm not sure if it's the WiFi mesh or the Sky Puck. I think it's handling of network issues isn't great.

When I go into the channels they don't work and when watching YouTube or disney plus they glitch or run out of sequence lips move then speech. The WiFi is ok as I can use youtube or other apps on my phone no problem.

Hi
can you check what speed your stream is getting .... you can do this by going into the stream Netflix app .... then settings ... then run the network check
you ideally need between 25-30 mb (more depending on what other devices you have connected to your internet) to run the stream box
43inch Gen 1 and 55 inch Gen 2 Sky Glass & sky live camera 3 Pucks. Virgin media M350 hub 5x. Four sky mobile sims.

Something to be aware of - just because YouTube works on other devices isn't a sign that your WiFi signal is strong and stable enough for the stream platform. On a mobile phone YouTube would buffer some of the content locally so any small drops in connections you would unlikely notice.
The Skys streaming platform won't buffer locally as everything you run including the apps are running remotely from Sky's servers.
If your speed meets the minimum recommended ( as suggested in the post above) then another option to test if the WiFi signal is the issue is to connect via Ethernet cable and disable the WiFi in the puck's settings.

What does 'nerd stats' show in YouTube on the Puck?
Is the connection speed varying and any lost frames?

Re: Sky stream having to reboot puck every evening to get the stream to work correctly
Well I've been in contact with Sky support who were able to see latency issues pretty much daily for the last few weeks... I've upgraded my mesh network to deco tp-link units that include not just the WiFi mesh aspects of the network but also include powerline tech... I've seen some improvements but to be honest, the biggest improvement I've had is actually switching off/on my fibre hardware.
🤞so far... so good!
