Sky remote stops working when trying to go through menu or change channels

We have had sky steam for a few days now. The remote for the puck in the livingroom works when it wants to. Can be browsing through the menu and it just freezes. Changing channel and it will freeze. Sometimes it tries to catch up and flies through the channels or when browsing an app so everything started jumping. The one in the bedroom is perfectly fine. Not sure if we just gave a faulty remote with the one in the livingroom.
