Sky puck set up but how do I set the volume for a Samsung tv

Hi @Thatch22 

If you follow the setup it should give you the option to setup TV control. 

Press and hold 1 & 3 on the remote and follow the info, you need to select TV make and then work through until the volume works.

@Thatch22There is no volume control as such with "stream" if set up the stream controller will adjust your TV's volume if it can't control the TV you will have to use the TV's remote controller.

Same issue, set up TV volume control with Samsung TV, the stream remote intially controlled the TV volume during the remote control setup test but then never has since...tried rebooting TV, removing batteries from sky stream remote and tried the setup process for remote control TV volume again but nothing reolves it. As I said it did work during the setup.

Hi I'm having the same problem I've tried 7 and 9 then 1 and 3 set it up but none of the options work did you manage to solve this issue

Exact same issue here with a Samsung TV, it worked to control the TV volume during initial set up but doesn't any longer, reconnect the remote with 1 and 3 and been through controller 'control you tv' steps multiple times but nothing works

I have a second Puck in another room with a Samsung TV and configured that second after the first puck and that works for volume fine in the other room and also on the Samsung TV which the main puck doesn't work with which makes the whole thing even stranger!!

Finally had enough of this and did the following to fix.

• Unplug Sky Stream box
• Hold 6+4 on remote for 10seconds
• Take batteries out of remote
• Hold 7+9 for 10seconds (backlight dims on remote)
• Batteries back in remote, remote to side 
• Hold power button on front bottom of puck and plug back in whilst keeping power held down for around 10+seconds

Puck boots and fully resets so you need to reactivate via the link and code displayed onscreen and remote is now connected, next step is volume control option; leave on 1 of 21 and check volume button on remote now controls Samsung TV (it did for me) click Yes and then No to controlling sound system and that's it all working. Finish initial setup.

All my playlist items and Netflix logins were still saved and working fine, just had to change a few other setting like enable UHD but so far TV volume and power off (by holding Stream remote power button for 3secs) working perfectly.

I could not get my UE TV volume to work. I chose 'do you know the model number ', put in 48H6200 (no UE) and it works

This worked for me too. Drop the UE and put in the rest of the tv model number

I should mention that my TV is  UE55 but 55 wasn't listed.so I used a different model. I did choose one with an H in it.

Weird, mine is a 55 too (55MU6400) and that came up in the list

Mines a UE55H8000. Good to know tho that just because some are not listed, they can work.

SOLVED: Mine was the same as all above, dropped the UE and typed 65 and my model wasn't listed, so chose another and it worked.
