Sky puck not staying connected to WiFi
Hi I have 3 sky pucks my very first one I've had problems from day one I've contacted sky done everything they have told me to do works for a bit but keeps saying not connected even though it's connected by Ethernet cable the other pucks works perfectly weather it's by WiFi or Ethernet cable I've spoken to sky by online chat and by phone did everything they said sometimes it works fine for short while then don't it's not the router as everything else works fine just main puck just annoying every time want to watch tv a few times when unplugged the sky puck it don't even turn on till I've unplugged and plugged back in at least 3-4 times to me it's a problem with the puck itself with everything else is just working fine

The two pucks work fine it's the very first puck I got when signed up that's having internet problems had problems with it since day one as was with talk talk but when contract ran out went to sky but still same problems losing connection or not even connecting at all either with WiFi or Ethernet cable seems to work once connected but if turned of I have connection issues again

Have you switched the location of the bad Puck with a good Puck?

Re: Sky puck not staying connected to WiFi
@Exiled-in-HH @I've swapped with one that works ok and it works ok the main one still have problems with connecting to the internet if it's in my bedroom or my daughters room has main puck has problems connecting weather I'm trying to connect by Ethernet cable or through WiFi connection that why say something wrong with the puck itself from day one but sky tells me to try things works for short while once it's does connect then once I turn of tv to go out or something it has trouble when turn back on and have to go through all the things Skys told me to do like turn router of and puck and turn back on and wait a while then turn puck on which have to do few times to get to stay connected I've even brought expensive Ethernet cable and still got the same problem with connecting

Re: Sky puck not staying connected to WiFi
You have reported the issue to Sky and did you request a replacement?
Have Sky refused to supply a replacement?
Check your account is the Puck your property or Sky's?

Re: Sky puck not staying connected to WiFi
@SPARKYMARC47 i'd suggest being quite adamant with Sky about sending a replacement for the dodgy puck. When you speak to them detail the testing you have done ( as mentioned earlier in this thread), as if its the one puck that is having a problem and the second one is fine that is the definition of a faulty puck really.
