Sky puck needs reconnecting to wifi every time I turn itnin

I have to completely reset my router and puck every time I turn it on - it does not remember the WiFi at all. Is this a fault with the puck as everything else seems to work fine. Really annoying when I just want to watch tv!

@paul+turner  In the Stream puck settings menu go to start up and standby and make sure that networked standby mode is set to on

That's great - thank you.  It was set to off, so hopefully the change will work.  Thanks again - great advice.  Not sure why the sky employee didn't suggest that??!

@paul+turner may be worth doing a reboot of the puck as well to ensure it will pick up the setting change. Some setting changes only seem to apply when the puck starts up.

 

1. Go to Settings
2. Go to System Management
3. Press Select
4. Go to Resets and Updates
5. Press Select
6. Go to Restart Device
7. Press Select.

Note this will take a few minutes to reboot, so expect to see a blank screen for 2 minutes until the Sky logo appears as its starting up.
