Hi i have sky stream account but cannot login to sky go app on Apple TV 4K box,i get the message you'll need a sky q multiscreen account or a sky glass whole home subscription to access sky go on your Apple TV ?
how can sky stream owners get access to use as sky stream isn't mentioned even though i have full package and can use sky go on iPhone and iPad ?

Whole Home applies to Stream as well as Glass.
Stream users require Whole Home to use Sky Go on Apple TV, Xbox and PlayStation.

That should be the case, yes.

The Sky Go app on Apple TV was pretty poor. BBC channels for one were not available on Sky Go and the output was 720p.
I've not had access in a while but check with current subscribers before forking out another £13 a month 😳

I suspect BBC channels will never be available: the Beeb wants the viewing figures logged for iPlayer.

Sky Go 720p picture quality on an Apple TV 4K box is only marginally different to 1080i on other devices😉

This is very true and I've argued this case many times that HD on Apple is outstanding but when you have to pay £13 or whatever it is these days for Sky go and home give your customer 1080 and not 720, surely.

Both the Sky GO and the Sky Store apps are in desperate need of update to 2020s standards😟
