Hi,

sky streaming puk has always been connected via Wi-Fi for last 2 months since getting it and worked fine.

Today kept going in an out of connection to Wi-Fi earlier (morning/afternoon)

Come back home tonight and it finds the Wi-Fi name but won't connect to router or internet.

iPhone connect to Wi-Fi fine, Speedtest on phone shows working fine and with enough mb download etc for the puk to work.

3 hours later of reset puk, the Wi-Fi settings and reconnect, turn off puk and Wi-Fi router numerous times and still will not connect.

Says no Wi-Fi connection and there is a problem with your network connection.

Tried Ethernet connection from router to Puk and it won't connect or find the router that way.

Any ideas on how to solve it?

Thanks

@Mason2189

If a factory reset doesn't work, you will need to make a phone call and ask for a replacement box.

@Mason2189if you haven't done so already reboot your router by unplugging the mains power for 30 seconds.

I have done the router and the Puk numerous times like that and nothing still.
Funny enough it now works this morning and seems normal for the 3 minutes I've tried it

Maybe not. It shows no channels, playlist, app's or anything and just says on them all "sorry, there are currently no programmes of this type available"

Have you tried to hardwire with an ethernet cable, if that works then you know its a WiFi issue. If it works leave it hardwired these pucks work best wired.

I'm having this problem right now. Did you manage to fix it?

No it's a stream box issue. Some mornings I switch mine in and it's fine, others it has lost a connection.

This box is a disgrace quite frankly. VMs Stream Box works flawlessly. It's actually better, but not in terms if the number of channels they carry as they want you to have the normal DVB-C service not the cheaper stream one.

June 1st. If that firmware update does not resolve the issues, Sky can have their box back....

@Unisoft (and @StoopR ) I have Glass and not stream but I had a similar problem that most mornings my Glass has lost the Network.  I don't know what is in the menus for Stream but I manged to solve this issue on my Glass TV  by going into the Settings > Start up & Standby menu and changing the Networked standby mode to ON. This keeps it connected to the network when Glass goes into standby.

If you have this option on the Stream puck give it a try.  It cured my problem and the next morning my WiFi was still connected.

NB - I always reboot my Glass after making any changes to the settings.

Thanks, I already have two of these energy options enabled. It was better from default, but not fixed. It doesn't do it every day, but is random from standby.

For people who normaly use ethernet but get this connection turn off wifi networking in Settings/Network/Advanced as the units can default to wifi even when ethernet is present.
