Sky Stream and military families.

Many military families are unique in that they may spend most of their time in Service Families Accomodation but stay in their own privately owned houses during periods of leave. This isn't too much of a problem with Sky Q, however, if a service family wants to upgrade to Sky Stream, they'll be penalised if they take the Stream home with them. Are there any allowances for military families owing to their circumstances?

All Sky equipment is intended to be for use at the address registered with them. So far as I'm aware, there aren't any exceptions,  unfortunately.

@Edwin+G+D  Within the UK you would be able to change the address when moving, if it involved bases outside the UK then I'm afraid even Sky Q legally shouldn't be used outside the UK & Ireland as your subscription permit that.

Fo oversees TV BFBS would be the correct service to subscribe to.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@Edwin+G+D

The continuing insistence by Sky that Stream is only used at a registered address is undoubtedly annoying, and just unnecessary since they dropped the need for a dish.  However it's reasonable that they have revenue protection mechanisms in place to deter a single subscription with Whole Home being split between multiple addresses.
