Paramount+ has stopped working on the Sky Stream. I've been in contact with Sky who said to speak with Paramount and have spoken to Paramount who said and I quote
"Please be informed that we are only available to Sky Glass and Q and we do not support Sky Stream."
The problem is whenever you stream it just does the spinning wheel (buffering) and never actually starts the show or displays an error, just spins forever.
Every other app is working, no issues with any channels or applications just Paramount+. The only way I've got it to work again was to factory reset the puck and it worked for a few hours and then died again, I'm not going to reset the puck again.
Paramount+ is working on my laptop and mobile on the same network so it's nothing to do with my network configuration.
Has anyone got any ideas or suggestions short of cancelling Sky Cinema and Paramount+?

I don't know if a puck, supplied when I got Glass, is the same device supplied with Sky Stream but Paramount+ works ok for me on our spare tv.

Yes this seems to be broken currently. Was working the other day on my Stream puck. Now just endlessly spins.
you'd be kinda annoyed if you'd payed for this and used it solely on Sky Stream, and now they're saying it's unsupported. Which begs the question - why does the app appear in the app rail if it's now unsupported? Weird.

Glad to hear it's not just me ! Not impressed by the response from Sky or Paramount !

Paramount+ app working ok on my Sky Glass and Sky Stream Puck
Just tested in the last hour 4 different Movies and TV Shows as in played for about 10 min of each stream there has been no buffering once Film or TV Show starts actual video playback
Both my Sky Glass and Sky Stream pucks are connected by Wired Ethernet and I have a very stable broadband connection which has no latency issues
Is there any paticular content on Paramount+ that some users having as I don't have time to test every movie or show on Paramount+
Are your Sky Glass or Sky Stream pucks connected by Wifi or Wired Ethernet and what download and upload speed do you have and what type of broadband connection you have as in is it Fiber or Landline or Mobile broadband
And how many devices are using your broadband connection same time
Have you tested your broadband connection that you get from your router for latency and packet loss

Have gigabit FTTP with low latency. Wired Ethernet connection. Get a spinner on all content on Paramount+.

I have no buffering with Paramount+ app on Sky Glass or Sky Stream Puck
All content I tested today is playing no issues

It's not buffering, it just fails to load anything. I'll try rebooting the puck at the mains, when the snooker is finished!

I watching Mission Impossible - Fallout right now on Paramount + App on Sky Stream Puck no issues

Only thing I could do to get it to work again was factory reset, but then it failed again.
It's not buffering agree, it's the buffering spinning wheel that get's displayed and nothing loads and then the app doesn't respond you have to just close it but going to another app or channel.

Pulled the plug and seems to be working now. One of the many bugs with Stream, I guess?

Just to follow up I found the issue was my Firewalla family safety was preventing Paramount+ and only Paramount+ from streaming, all other services fine. I've fed back to Paramount+ that it was just hanging and they should time out or give a useful error message.
I put the Sky Stream on a dedicated port with no filtering and smart rules giving it priority over all other traffic and its working better then it ever has.
