Sky Sports juddering Channel 403 and 409

Hi all,

Channel 403 and 409 are constantly juddering and the yellow ticker on Channel 409 looks like it's on a twitch every few seconds .

Appears to be only these two channels as all other sports channels are fine and UHD channel is fine but those 2 particular channels are poor.

Restarting puck is no help and I have 500mbps internet.

I am Sky Stream customer.

Firstly anyone else having this issue and secondly any solutions or help from Sky?

thanks

CJ

Yes I have had the same problem with channel 403 Sky Sports Football. I reported it to Sky twice now after the Sunday game between Southampton and Portsmouth where I switched to the ITV 1 coverage on my Sky puck and it was fine and on Wednesday when I watched the Swansea v Forest Carabao Cup game which was again fine on Main Event Channel 401. The Sky rep told me thay will look into it. Lets see if it is resolved. Im watcing the Middelsborough v West Bromwich match right now and 403 seems like an SD channel but it looks fine of 401 Main Event. Also noticed juddering on the Sky Sports news band recently. Made sure my HDR TV was properly set up and rebooted both the Sky puck and broadband and it still does this. So it looks like a Sky transmission issue.

Hi @CJ1943

Sky don't routinely read and respond here as this is a customer helps customer community. They best cause of action would be to report this to skys viewer relations team (viewerr@sky.uk is their email).

I am seeing it slightly. The ticker isn't smooth.

Thanks. I wonder if using a wired broadband connection may help or if this is purely a transmission/streaming issue.

Re: Sky Sports juddering Channel 403 and 409

It's an issue in my glass and pucks.

The football in 403 was unwatchable at the weekend. Blur and jitter.

409 the ticker is jittery and so are any VTs that they show.

Has been a few days now.

Yep - this is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened to Sky Sports News in the 5 months I've had Sky Stream.

"Try again later to see if the problem's fixed" was the response I just got from Sky
