Sky Sports UHD picture keeps stuttering

Passthrough has definitely helped matters for me and does make sense that the puck itself is the bottleneck if passthrough is supposedly reducing the load upon it. However, it still seems to be struggling at times - I get the occasional slow down in the action followed by it speeding up to "catch up". 

It's good to see a follow up post from Sky to confirm it is being investigated but it would be nice to have at least some preliminary findings considering it's several months since the issue was first flagged and it seems to be affecting a considerable number of people.

Passthrough is audio, video is still handled by the puck which is by far larger amount of data the puck has to handle, hence the continual glitches.

I understand that, but I believe the theory is that passthrough reduces overall load on the puck, allowing it to handle the video better. From what I've experienced the theory makes sense, but it hasn't resolved the issue entirely.

It's not worked for everyone but at least Sky have acknowledged the issue is with them to fix.

More stuttering and sound cutting out on 401 during the NFL

So watching NFL tonight on 410 hd all ok

switched to 401 uhd - blank screen - there is an error message

switched to 922 usual stuttering etc but also black screen every few seconds !! 
Went back to 410 and that started stuttering fgs

Had to reset box

Don't know what's happened to sky in the pass few months but they realy gone down hill the service is appalling broadband intermittent which is a problem when you have glass trying to watch sport in UHD is a nightmare it freezes goes off comes back on with subtitles even tho it's turned off so I have to come off the channel and back to sort it I've tried resetting the tv but this didn't help and the picture is like watching sport from 80s and apps not loading especially paramount + looking at changing internet provider to see if this sort the issues

Wonder how long it can last for Sky and they are going to struggle with the other streaming platforms in the long term if they don't sort out the issues

Am trying to stay positive and that they can sort out the stream platform. I have said this a few times, I like the stream set up BUT it needs to work better and Sky need to reduce the many constant issues that keep occurring and not to blame our network or ISP

I am not sure if the issue is that Sky are behind on the streaming set up and at present haven't fully got it right, but only they will know. I suspect it's partly the puck and the quality is not there

Honestly dont think its the Broadband because so many on here experiencing the same problem with different providers 

im on vodaphone and constantly get 500-600mps

It's definitely not @kph103. if it was we would have issues with all our other machines and gadgets. I am also on 500+ mps
