Re: Sky Sports UHD picture keeps stuttering

@JRK29 We just need to wait for Sky / Comcast to show more ownership to admit that it's the puck and they need to update it. In its current state we will continue to have issues.
I am trying to continue to be patient and we paying huge amounts for a second rate gadget. They can try and continue to do all the resets and tests with our set ups but there is a bigger picture and it's the machine itself

Re: Sky Sports UHD picture keeps stuttering

Interesting. Upgraded to 4k on paramount subscription through Sky. Played via app. Simply couldn't handle the image and was scrambling the image like a slow connection. Played fine on the HD subscription.
came off and switched to my Apple TV. Plays perfectly. No issues. This is clearly the useless puck not being able to handle 4k HDR and Atmos.

It's the same for netflix. Fine through TV app terrible through puck.

If Sky want the numbers, the only way they will be successful is by supplying a new or updated decent running puck. Lets hope that our paitence will pay off

Re: Sky Sports UHD picture keeps stuttering

Watching the Norwich v Southampton game, It's nice to see that Sky are showing consistency with their woeful, unwatchable picture quality on the Low Latency channel. I'm beginning to question why I continue to pay for Sky Sports as clearly Sky are showing little intent on fixing the problem.

I agree, Sky need an updated puck with better specs otherwise some people will always have these issues.  It's made to low budget.

Re: Sky Sports UHD picture keeps stuttering

I have done away with Stream after 5 days too slow 1 minute 10 secs behind on goals . It's like watching a movie on a train

Re: Sky Sports UHD picture keeps stuttering

Thank you for agreeing @Dazzasky shame that the folks at Sky don't seem to agree! It's a very cheap product and needs severe updating so that it works correctly for streaming. They need to admit it otherwise it won't survive. Constant black screen issue still also on the UHD latency channel!!!

Re: Sky Sports UHD picture keeps stuttering

This reminds me a little of a computer system that was installed at a company I worked for. The system looked like a Ferrari but performed like a Reliant Robin. In other words it doesn't matter what a product promises it will do or looks like on paper - its what it actually does and whether it meets the expectations generated by the supplier. From what I have seen the answer here is a resounding NO for Sky Sports UHD. Can't think that I will stay with Sky at the end of my contract.  I have already been approached by Virgin and I was with them for a number of years and they delivered what they promised but they have limited UHD!

UHD on Sky sports its terrible through the Puck. Amazon, Netflix Apple, Disney put you to shame. Come on Techies sort it out.
