Sky Sports UHD picture keeps stuttering

Sky rang me today and enquired about my service. Told them about the issue - they presented no solution and offered me £10.00 as compensation.  You really couldn't make it up. I refused the offer as its insulting. Can't wait for Virgin to ring me.

Been having this issue the last few games, it's been particularly bad in the Man Utd -  Everton game tonight.

Just turned it on and you're right.  I'm watching it on my Hisense TV which doesn't have anywhere near the quality of my LG (sorry Hisense) and it's juddering away. Really poor and so frustrating.....and I'm not talking about Man U.

This appears to worked for me, but with a Sony Bravia VH1 and Sonos. Changed the sound settings on the puck to passthrough and no more stuttering/juddering. Not sure what the puck means by loosing some sort of audio functionality when changing the sound settings, but would rather watch a smooth match than keep some features I don't use.

I've tried changing to passthrough, and it did seem to make a difference for about 10 minutes but now stuttering again

The game is unwatchable tonight on UHD, after the nonsense with the F1 being unavailable at the weekend this is just ridiculous.

His response was he has the same problem 😂 🤣🤣🤣🤣

All this anecdotal evidence seems to suggest this isn't a Wi-Fi/Ethernet or internet issue. Something has definitely happened to either how they are streaming or how the firmware is processing the stream. 

Either way it's not really an acceptable situation to be in and I'd like to think the more comments on the subject highlights the issue.

I'm affected as well.

sky stream wired to Ethernet to sky router on a 73mbps internet connection.

sonos beam with LG Oled TV. 
Was terrible watching Man Utd v Everton tonight.

i also noticed that the on screen display would turn on by itself every 15 mins or so as if I touched the remote.

i suspect it's a backend issue as it used to be ok.

Been having exactly the same problem with juddering/stuttering and freezing, it's been happening for ages on and off, sometimes you can watch the f1 and the football no problems, other times they're borderline unwatchable, I know it's not an internet issue as I've wired it straight to the router with an Ethernet cable, it's receiving 89-90mbps according to the Netflix test and is on a fibre optic 2.5gbps broadband. One thing I have noticed is the pick does get quite warm so I'm not sure if it overheats and the chip just has a bit of a tantrum😂

I know it's a futile request since this a community forum with no direct line to any technical support team but what's the chances of this being acknowledged or at least an update to say the reports are being investigated?

I have the same problem.  Seems to be worse if I have been watching content via an app, such a YouTube, Prime, iPlayer etc, prior to watching live Sky Sport in UHD.  A restart of the puck usually resolves it.

Getting the same issue when watching UHD sports. Especially the sky sports games. The TNT ultimate is better but can still see this stuttering a little bit.

Similiar setup to yours Sonos Arc with LG OLED TV and I get stuttering on UHD Football. Never used to get it on BT UHD Footy.
