Sky Puck says Software Error on every restart - any ideas?

As per the subject really, every time the Sky Puck is off and put back on, when watching, it goes to the bluescreen and Software Error. The only way to fix is to unplug, even though it days you shouldn't have to do that Is this a common issue, do we get a new Puck?

Yeah the easiest way in invoke that is via the settings. You should be warned though on occassion a reset can prevent you from reactiviating the stream puck, forcing you to have to call Sky and getting them to fix it in the backend. Plenty of users have reset successfully in the past, but a number have also had issues relinking the pcuk with their account that has required a call from Sky.

 

To be honest i think you are better off phoning about this issue, as they may recommend performing the reset and will be able to fix any relinking issue on the call if it does occur.

You could try a master reset ... unfortunately this will mean you ll have to set the puck up from the beginning and relink it to your account
