Sky Puck is not a good subsidy for Sky programmes.

The sky puck is not reliable as others have said it either freezes, won't switch on. Or show your programmes,

Have you spoken to Sky about it? What did they advise?

@Patricia+H.C Before saying to you that you have a faulty puck, which is a possibility, how are you connecting to the puck? Is it via WiFi or Ethernet cable?

Using an Ethernet cable is recommended for Stream and Glass because for most it provides a more stable and reliable connection. If you use Ethernet then make sure you turn WiFi off in the Settings.

WiFi is prone to interference with many things capable of affecting the strength of the signal.

Your internet also needs to be capable of 25Mbps at all times to run Stream, rising to 30Mbps for UHD content. If you have a lot of devices all trying to use the same internet connection it's going to cause issues.

@Patricia+H.C

If you're coming from a Sky satellite service such as Sky+ or Sky Q then Sky Stream can be a bit of a shock.

The satellite services rely on a Sky engineer connecting up a box to a dish in order for the service to function.

The streaming service relies on you, the customer, providing a fast and stable enough broadband signal for the service to function.

It does take a bit more work from the customer in this respect, but it can work if you supply a functional Stream puck with a good enough network connection.

There are many thousands of happy Sky Stream customers out there, but you need to determine first of all if it is your network connection which is the cause of your problems, or whether you have been supplied with a faulty puck.

It is not the WiFi as I have very good speeds. All my apps on the T.V. that stream are perfect. I don't think the puck is good.

@Patricia+H.C Plenty of people have said the same, then switched to Ethernet and have found it far more reliable. It's got to be worth trying?

I have Glass and when I first got it the first week was a nightmare connecting via WiFi. It was the only device beside my phone to use WiFi and the connection would drop multiple times per day. I switched to Ethernet cable and have not had a connection issue in the 3.5 years since. My only Glass issues have been firmware related.
