Sjy Puck - SKys lack of ability to get a decent streaming box

SKy, Why is the sky puck really poor at its job of streaming tv? I have had several streaming boxes over the years and i also mow have a Fire Stick which works with no issues to watch amazon, netflix and streaming other tv programs. It streams with no issues, I have a PS5 and can stream through that and get no issue with any service including watching netflix on the IPad while streming a game on the PS5.

Sky puck on the other hand is dreadful, i get white screens with the program playing in the background, i get a frozen screen with it playing in the background, I get picture and no sound, i get technical faults and then even after folloeing all your guides it then still fails.

And before you say its my internet(because i dont pay for sky broadband) as I have stated above with a gig connection that has no issues with with streaming everything else other than sky, i use a hard wired connection so it gets the fastest connection it can.

So please tell me gow if doing all your reset's that you say i have to do and your "test" says it is all OK do i fix this issue?

@JamesW77

The key difference with Sky's streaming service & most other streamers is that SkyOS is almost entirely server-based. The pucks are slave devices - the heavy lifting is done on the servers. All apps, playlists, and much of the UI are hosted on the servers, not on the puck, hence the need for a rock solid, constant connection.
Some people find this works fine. But for others, any tiny blip in your network connection can cause the puck to glitch. You don't get the same level of sensitivity on other streaming devices where the OS & apps are stored locally on the device. On SkyOS, everything is on the server so if you don't have a rock solid connection you're more likely to have issues.
