Are you using the HDMI cable which came with the Stream puck? Have you tried a different HDMI port on the TV? Do you have the puck's video output set to 2160P?

Puck set to 2160 using hdmi lead it came with tried two other leads, all four ports and different puck from upstairs and still went recognise the tv as uhdtv. With the previous Virgin tivo box it played uhdtv no problem.

It may be that your TV is too old. Is it a Samsung UE40KU6000 that you have? That's a 2016 model so was designed using 2015 tech and is on the cusp of when UHD HDR formats were established.
A lot of TV's from around that time lack full HDR compatibility. Sky Stream needs to see a TV capable of HLG HDR in order for it to display HDR content. It may be that it's not registering it as being UHD capable due to it only having an 8bit panel.
Might be time to update your TV.
