Restart Sky TV several times in a day

I have to restart my sky box several times in a day.

TV series like "Games of Throne" stops with a technical error.

I restart box via remote control and then it starts working.

Is this a Sky+ box, or do you have a Sky Stream Puck?

Are you connected via WiFi or ethernet?

What speed is actually being received by your pucks?

To find out, open the Netflix app (on each puck) and navigate to the get help menu. Then check your network. Do this separately on each puck and let us know the speed.

Various things can affect WiFi connections - interference from other devices, distance from router, etc. If possible try connecting to your router with ethernet cables and turn WiFi off on the puck network settings. This will give you a more stable signal.

@YJD   I had a similar problem and as I was connected via wi-fi rather than an Ethernet cable, I was asked to make sure the router had a clear line of site to my puck and neither had objects near them.  I did as asked and have had no trouble since.

I had a similar experience. I had my sky stream puck on an enclosed shelf which was causing the Wifi signal it was able to get to be weaker thus had to connect it up via ethernet. I've subsequently moved the puck into another room, it's out in the open and works perfectly fine via Wifi.
