Replacement and the extra puk keeps getting me to reactivate and link?

Yesterday our replacement Puk and my extra puk arrived.

Both were activated and linked.

12 hours later my puk makes me do it all again and my sons replacement one is also doing it! Why? 

Meant to be plug-and-play, I can't spend this time once or twice in a day activating and linking each time.

That's unusual. Keep us posted if it happens again, it might have been a one off blip.
