Pucks have arrived before recorded as dispatched!

Ordered 2 additional pucks 18/09 both arrived 19/09 fantastic right!

Actually no it's not, as both pucks are showing on the system as awaiting dispatch they are not recorded against my account so can't be activated or linked. Skys advice wait a day or so! Maybe I could use them as coasters until then! 😂

As a few of you have noticed an issue on activation for a new puck delivery, I have made Sky aware in our Superusers closed area.

I have also combined some of your posts and other threads into this single one.

 

I will mark this post as the answer for now, until any further updates from Sky.

 

All we can suggest, as some of your have tried, is to keep trying the activation every few hours or so.

Might be worth repowering the puck each time before a new try.

I have an activation code for my puck but nothing is happening

I have had a Sky Streaming puck delivered and I have the code to activate it but nothing is happening - the status of the puck on the Sky account is awaiting delivery and I can get no sense from the bot and apparently Sky Glass / TV help messaging service is not available even though it says it should be at this time - can anyone help?

Have you opened  the manage  devices in your  my sky app because  that's  where you  put the code to link the device  to your  account

Yes I'm inputting the code but nothing happens after that... at all. I'm thinking it might be because Sky have not recognised the puck has been delivered yet.

I'm having the same problem. The my orders section says its waiting dispatch even though I received the puck today.

 

I can't activate the puck. It's just a useless paperweight at the moment.

 

I spoke to sky who escalated it. He said he would contact me later today. As its now 1720 and still haven't heard anything I don't think it's going to be fixed today.

I phoned sky and they told me it's happened to a lot of people. When I asked how long it will take to fix,the said it could take up to 5 days.

I've been told to wait 48hours when I spoke to Sky 2 hours ago.

He phoned me back about an hour ago. He said the tech team told him it's happening to a lot of people and could take up to 5 days to fix. I hope it's not that long.

Sky Puck Not activating

Need help. Puck status still says out for delivery, can't activate, tried later, every 4 hours now 22.30 and still not working, can't get though to sky on phone, hard reset 3 times, I have whole home and 2 other pucks for over a year just wanted to add one more! Did I just waste £40?

Unfortunately as we are fellow customers there isnt much we can do. It's likely going to need someone at skys end to force the status to delivered.

 

At what stage Re you getting stuck? I.e. when you have plugged your puck in and joined WiFi etc? Do you get the screen with a code to enter at sky.com/activate ?

Thanks for the rapid reply, yep I get to the activation code but nothing happens. Tried a few times now but I think it's the delivery status stuck that's not allowing me to register.  Do you have any shortcuts to getting a sky human to help please? Tried calling but after selecting a music option on hold and waiting ages, I gave up. Way too painful.
