Problems with live sync channel 922 sky sports UHD

Today is the first time I have had issues with the sky sports uhd live sync channel 922. It's stopping, spluttering etc .. ... wondering if it's my Broadband or if others are having an issue, it's normally faultless

It maybe the Sky server your session is running on rather than your BB🤔

First time it's happened to me, not a major issue channel 401 sky sports main event UHD is fine. It's just channel 922 the live sync channel. Unwatchable

Can one of the mods please raise this with sky to have a look in to please? Ch 922 is unwatchable today and it doesn't just appear to be me

Just moved to Stream & Glass from Q. My live sync channel on glass is perfect but on stream is juddering every second or so, unwatchable.

@JHudson1988 check the wifi signal level in the pucks network settings menu the livecsync channel requires more bandwidth so marginal wifi signal is a likely cause.

That's waaaaay more than enough. It's stability of the signal which is key though. Much of SkyOS runs from a server, not from the hardware in your room so your broadband connection needs to be continuous and stable with minimal speed fluctuation or jitter as possible. 

Connecting via ethernet cable and turning WiFi off can mitigate against fluctuations caused by unstable WiFi. The ethernet port is actually capped at 100Mbps so you can see that your speed is more than adequate, it just needs to be free of interference.

Thanks, I had solved this for myself long ago to be honest. I'm on symmetrical 900mb full fibre, fully cabled throughout the house so no internet issues.

The issue for me seemed to be the audio settings as I use a Denon receiver with speaker system. If I leave the sound on auto or Dolby Digital I get juddering every 2 seconds or so & strange audio on live sync channel. Switching to pass through completely fixed this for me.

Ooh that's nice to know, I'll give that a whirl before completely re-installing a new internet system, which I was about to do.
