Poor picture quality

How come Netflix and Prime quality is clearly inferior using Sky stream, if I go direct through the app on the TV it's so much better. Also football UHD through the puck is not really clear, is Sky steam not that good??

Sky Stream's picture quality is generally pretty good. On demand UHD HDR content can look excellent but it's few & far between. It can be slow to buffer up to full quality - that's one of Stream's big downsides.
Netflix & Prime have always been better for me via native TV apps too, or on the Apple TV 4K box.
I rarely use my puck now. Other devices are just quicker & more reliable.

@Iangeorge63 many TVs can store different picture serrings for each HDMI input so it is worth adjusting picture settings for the one that you use for Sky Stream. In general turn off motion handling and turn down the sharpness settings as these can peversly do the opposite of what you expect. Presets called things like Movie or Expert do this for you and are a good placec to start. Avoid settings like Sport which on most sets make Sports broadcast look over bright and over processed.
