I'm getting fed up with constant picture and sound dropping out

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Yorkiecherry the live sync channel requires a very stable data feed as it reduuces the amount of data cached in the puck. If you hit issues unfortunately you will need to use the standard feed on ch 401

Who is your ISP?
Do you use wifi or ethernet?
What is your router sync speed to the internet?
What is your connection speed to the internet measured using the Netflix Network check?

On you phone run a WiFi analyser app, see if any neighbouring signals are on the same channel.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Yorkiecherry you should not be having issues with the Live Sync channels with that network set up so I would suggest you report the issue to Sky. This is quite new technology so is still under test as while Sky staff have been testing the technology for sometime not every wrinkle have been ironed out. I assume the regular SSME channel is working well if so use that fir the time being as Sky are continueing to offer that.

High Speeds don't mean good performance. The most important aspect of your stream performance is low latency. What is the latency on your broadband connection.

How do I check please?

download Speedtest.net run a test, it will give speed and latency of your BB connection.

Such information should be available on Pucks without using Netflix🤔
