On top of Tv says there is a technical fault

When I turn on tv and it is on Home Screen and then I press on say bbc1 etc it comes up black with a there's a technical fault. 
internet is fine and WiFi fine too.

confused what to do? Any help is greatly appreciated thanks all in advance!

Reboot the puck from the settings menu .. just say "settings" into voice search 👌🏻

 

If this doesn't work, you might need to call Sky.

Hi @Alisha23This is a known issue which has been happening for a few weeks and I get the same on my Stream puck.

 

I have learn from experience that when it happens to me no amount of experimentation gets my puck working again other than a  reboot. Immediately i see the message I go to settings and use the restart function  It saves me a lot of frustration and annoyance to just do it and not bother to find another solution.

 

Sky are working on the issue and will hopefully fix it in a software update when they find a solution.

Thanks so much, randomly working again! But thanks for that will keep that incase it happens again.

I was getting the same only getting bbc1, then in a black square was the message technical fault. if you had virgin before sky stream and plugged in all the cables i think you may find it could be the ariel coax that virgin used remove this and reboot the puck i did this i do not seem to have this problem anymore with coax that virgin used its trying to send a signal to the puck hence the technical fault.
