No sound suddenly on BBC iPlayer or Walter Presents

volume is not muted but there is no sound to iPlayer or Walter Presents.   Voice activation does not help.  Restarting WiFi does not help.

wonder if connecting husband's Widex hearing aids to to so he can play quietly has affected it?
