No Chinese Formula 1 race available on sky from Channel 4?

I set a series link for the channel 4 highlights of the Chinese grand prix today, broadcast at 1.00 -3.30pm.

I arrived home ready to watch it at 4.00pm and there's no sign of it in my playlist.

What's the point of the playlist if it constantly misses shows?

It's down to Channel 4 to add it to their app and mark it as such on Sky.

I've turned off sky stream, switched my TV to it's Channel4 app, and watching it there.

Remind me, what does sky stream cost each month, and what do I get for it?

I have no idea what you pay for it and if you don't think it's good value I'm not going to try to convince you it is, we're other customers not Sky. 

If you want to try to get a resolution for this then Viewer Relations viewerR@sky.uk are the people to email and they can see why it wasn't appearing on playlist.

I was originally hoping that someone would tell me what I was doing wrong. 

Also, going public tends to get a more positive response from businesses.

You're not doing anything wrong @PortlandBill it's just that Channel 4 hadn't added it to Sky when you wrote and looks like they still haven't. 

It's a channel 4 issue not adding it in a timely fashion rather than a Sky issue and as you've identified you can open the channel 4 app bypassing Playlist to get it before they do that.

ITV and Channel 4 are particularly slow to add things in my experience.

It's up to Channel Four to add the correct metadata for the program to show in your Stream Playlist.
