New Sky Stream customer looking to order for a new home?
HI - I tried speaking to live chat but they were no help what so ever.
Looking to sign upto sky stream, however I do not move into my new home for 3 weeks and I have checked, the property will require a Sky Engineer to come out to set the broadband up.
My question is, can I order sky stream for a future date as everywhere I read it states that it is next day?

@Carloc1991 I'm afraid not, if you order it now it would be next day delivery and can't be held for 3 weeks, the puck would be auto activated after a certain period and billing would start if if you weren't able to use the service.

As mentioned above, the pucks are sent for delivery the following day.
Even if you do not activate on the day they arrive or the days or weeks later, the billing will start automatically within 21 days of the delivery date.
Taken form the Sky Stream faq help article;
Streaming TV billing starts when you activate your Sky Stream puck* and any subscriptions are charged a month in advance.
*One to watch out for: If you don’t activate your Sky Stream puck within 21 days of delivery, your subscription and billing will start automatically

Re: New Sky Stream customer looking to order for a new home?
Would this still be the case if the internet takes 2 weeks for example to be installed?

Yes as already advised it would be activated regardless.

Broadband and TV are separate services and have separate contracts and installation-activation processes despite sometimes being able to get package deals for new customers with them bundled together.
For most people this isn't an issue but certainly for people moving homes and trying to sign up it's quite problematic and the process doesn't really work.
