Netflix asking me to upgrade to an advert free plan
I want to watch a documentary but when I press play it brings up a s reen asking me to choose and advert free plan. I want to stay on my current plan with adverts but the confirm button stays greyed out so it won't let me confirm my selection.
I can watch other programmes without it coming up.
Has anyone else had this issue?

Re: Netflix asking me to upgrade to an advert free plan
Yes, this happened to me today. Not on all programmes. Went to watch a documentary and like you, it asked me to upgrade.

Re: Netflix asking me to upgrade to an advert free plan
There are a number of shows which are not available with the ad supported version of Netflix due to licensing restrictions. See: https://www.whats-on-netflix.com/what-to-watch/movies-and-series-unavailable-on-netflixs-ad-tier/
You will need to upgrade to an ad free version to watch that particular content.
