How can my son get sky on his ps5 he lives in Edinburgh I live in Inverness but I allow him to use my service I stream TV with a puk and have sky broadband

No, this is not permitted. Each subscription is per household

As a minimum that would require you to have the Whole Home subscription add-on: this should then permit use of the 'Television from Sky' app (aka Sky Go) on the console.

 

As @Anonymous indicates, a Stream subscription itself cannot be split between locations, and neither can pucks associated with one account.
