My sky stream puk has needed resetting twice in the last 24 hours

Hi 

 

I have had to reset my sky stream puk twice in the last 24 hours. 

 

Is there something causing this issues. Or do I need a new puk. 

 

Can any one shed any light on this matter please.

What was the reason you restarted your puck?

Did you get an onscreen message or not responding. 
Could your provide some more details on your problem.

 

When you say reset, was that a power restart?

If so, try the Settings restart instead.

Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete

Hi 

The Puck was unresponsive. Would not turn on at all.  So had to hold the power button on the underside of the puk and wait until it flashed different colours and then go through the startup process again.

Ok, so not turning on at all.

You did the correct recovery procedure process.

Has it behaved since that last recovery?

So far it has but it seems to happen again the following morning. So hopefully it will be OK tomorrow morning.. If not will I need a new one

Some things to make sure you have set on your Sky Stream puck in the puck settings:
Turn wifi OFF under Network if connected via ethernet.

Set Network standby mode to ON and Overnight power saving to OFF.
