My Sky remote no longer works with the Sky puck.

My Sky Stream service worked fine for 5 weeks and last night a friend fiddled with my Samsung remote and the Sky remote. Now, for some reason, the Sky remote no longer works with Sky Stream. I changed the batteries (it is not this), and have tried to synch with pressing 7+9, then 1+3 each for 3 secs with no success. I have tried everything I can and am lost. Please help.
