Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@ThePope27 They are now, but at the time Glass/Stream was released they were not on satellite but certainly were on stream.
I present the evidence: https://rxtvinfo.com/2021/bbc-one-hd-regional-launch-begins/

That's great @GD1
But there will be channels that use Sat Downlink

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@ThePope27 No but I have been given a tour of Sky's network facilities at Osterley Park a few years ago and seen the uplink operation there. It is huge facility and at the time ww saw it they were feeding Now TV, Sky Go and the apps and apparently third party customers directly.
Sky or rather Comcast have given no details on the streaming platform but given it is a worldwide operation taking feeds from multiple broadcasters the concept that Sky programming comes in over a satellite dish is a little far fetched.

With Sky Q does the mini box have the same delay compared to the main box ? I'm still on Sky HD with a simple coax link to another room. Faced with decision to go for Q or Stream. Not yet full fibre so it's probably going to have to be Q but would be annoying if they are out of sync.

Delay is couple seconds at most, maybe 5ish if that.

How can I watch 921 channel ? Please let me know
21 Jul 2024 09:03 PM
Hi, after you've selected a channel number then press 921 on your keypad and that channel should stream. Channel 922 is in UHD 😁

But my sky q box no option of this channel
means that it's not available
21 Jul 2024 09:55 PM
I'm afraid that channels 921 and 922 are only available for Sky Glass or Sky Stream

@Sandhu1 you don't need the low latency variants if you're watching on Sky Q as the broadcast is as close to live as you can get without being at the stadium
