My Friends on Sky Stream are all 25 seconds ahead every game.
Please advise ?

Have you tried either of these?

Hi All,
Any suggestions how I can resolve this 25 seconds delay behind my friends who are also watching via Sky when watching live football games on my Sky Streaming service?
Thanks

You won't be able to reduce the 25 seconds as satellite will always be superior to "TV over WiFi" because you will have some delay in the stream skys end and also have delay as it has to buffer some seconds of video.

I am watching via Channels 402 for Sky Sports and channel and various TNT Sports channels but the 25 second delay is still there compared to friends who have the same Sky set up. Please advise?
Thanks

Is it connected via WiFi or Ethernet?

Your broadband speed will be a contributing factor to any delays as the connection will buffer first to get a clean connection.
I'd suggest running a speedtest via the Netflix app to see what speeds your Puck is recieving.
Be aware though, due to Sky Stream running on a Unicast delivery method, there will always be a delay.
We have Sky Fibre 500mbps and the main puck is connected via Ethernet, our delay is about 10-15 seconds

I'm now connected via Ethernet, about 15 seconds delay but a little better.
Thanks

@Winston5 in all honesty, that's probably the best you'll get for now. It's a technical limitation of the Unicast delivery method. Openreach are testing a non-isp specific Multicast system which should pull the delay down to make it only a couple of seconds behind Multicast and satellite delivery. Sky are testing it at the moment. I can't remember what the channel numbers are but they're mentioned on the forum
