Re: Moving home don’t want a sky dish
That will be Stream. It relies on sufficient broadband. Research it fully before committing as it's totally different to Sky Q.
I'll move your post to the Stream board where customers who have it can further advise you.

It's essential to have fast and stable broadband in order for it to function though. It's much more of a self-setup product with no engineer support. You simply connect the Stream puck box to your TV via HDMI cable, then connect it to your broadband (which doesn't need to be from Sky) and start streaming.
It does not record. You instead add programmes to a playlist to watch back on demand either directly from Sky's servers, or on third party apps. Certain programmes on some channels can only be watched live and cannot be played back later unless you pay extra for a third party subscription.
It can work well. It can also work badly. It's entirely dependent on your own home's individual network and the quality of the connection you get to Sky's servers. The only way to know if it'll work well for you is to try it.
If it doesn't work well you can still get all Sky programmes on alternative hardware by subscribing to Sky's NOW service which allows you to stream everything from Sky's entertainment, movie and sport channels on the NOW app on your own, less bandwidth hungry hardware. You can subscribe to individual packages on a monthly basis or on 6 or 12 month contracts. It's not as complete a TV service as Sky Stream, but can work well, or better for many people, if you don't want or need the full EPG of live channel streams.
